Feeling out of control around your favorite foods? Like once you start eating some of it, you won’t be able to stop yourself..
so, often, it’s just easier to NOT keep that food in the house to avoid an unwanted binge.
One of the most common things I see in the work I do with my clients is a fear around specific foods, and really it’s more of a fear that they can’t be trusted with that specific food.
They think that once they start eating some of it, they have to eat it all or at the very least eat it until they feel sick.
This of course leads to them feeling guilty and like there is something wrong or broken with them…
This binge like behavior often times stems from intense feelings of restriction and deprivation around foods, that are imposed on you by diets and their food rules or the things you heard growing up around food.
This week on The Strong[HER] Way I am showing you how you can start to heal your relationship to food and begin to trust yourself around all foods so that you can literally take it or leave it.
No more feeling like you’re white knuckling it around the chips, cookies, or ice cream.
No more feeling like once you start you can’t stop.
No more feeling like a total failure for ‘doing it again’.
You can learn how to:
– eat all foods in the amounts you want without feeling like you’ve lost control
-manage urges or cravings
-And feel good in your body NOW not just when you’ve lost the weight.
